Residential customers can receive a rebate of $500 per port on the purchase and installation of Level 2 EV chargers. This rebate will cover about 50% of the cost of the EV charger purchase and installation.
Income-qualified residential customers can receive a rebate of up to $1,300 per port on the purchase and installation of Level 2 vehicle chargers. This will cover about 100% of the cost for purchase and installation.
Small Businesses and Multi-Unit Dwellings can receive a rebate of up to $2,000 on Level 2 chargers, which will cover approximately 30% of the cost to purchase and install an EV charging port.
The Governmental/Non-Profit Level 2 rebates of $3,000 will cover approximately 45% of the cost to purchase and install an EV charging port.
Large Commercial + Industrial customers can get a DCFC charger rebate of $20,000 to $35,000, based on the equipment charging speed.

Black Hills Energy has implemented a new electric rate, the Time-of-Day (TOD) rate, to support EV charging for residential, small business and commercial/industrial customers.
