Bowling for Junior Achievement
Bowling fundraiser

On March 4, 18 Black Hills Energy employees in Nebraska laced up their bowling shoes and hit the lanes to raise money for the Kearney, Nebraska, chapter of Junior Achievement.

Our three teams raised the most money of any organization taking part in the Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon. Our “Improving Life with Energy” team raised $1,430, “We’ve Been Framed” raised $225 and “Strike 1” raised $1,615. All together, the three teams raised a grand total of $3,270 for the JA program and local kids.

An extra big shout-out to our top two fundraisers: Al Baker, who raised $1,390, and Karen Geist, who raised $540. Amazing job!

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Follow us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedInTwitter, YouTube, and Pinterest for more!
