Black Hills Energy recognizes National Safe Digging Day

Black Hills Energy is working in downtown Cheyenne, Wyoming, to repair a natural gas line located in the area of 17th Street between Warren Avenue and Central Avenue.

The month-long project will temporarily disrupt traffic at the intersection of East 13th Street and Iris Avenue, closing east bound Iris while the work is completed during the week of July 15.

Today, our crews will be performing repairs on power lines damaged from last night’s heavy thunderstorms in the areas of Sheridan Lake and Blue Wing recreation area.

Black Hills Energy announced today the Wyoming Public Service Commission (WPSC) has approved its voluntary renewable energy subscription program – the Renewable Ready Service Tariff for large commercial and industrial businesses and governmental agencies.
