RAPID CITY, SD — Aug 2, 2019 – Today, around 6:30 pm, Black Hills Energy has experienced a power outage in the Custer community affecting 717 customers. The outage is due to flooding that has reached our electrical substation with some equipment under water. Electric service will be out until water has declined and crews are able to inspect and repair identified damaged equipment.
