South Dakota ambassadors enjoy ‘Enchanted Evening’
group of people at prom gala

In March, Bethel Church in Rapid City, South Dakota, hosted “Enchanted Evening,” a prom-style gala for people over age 14 with special needs.

A meal and dessert were served and there was a DJ and dance floor. There were also flower bouquets, limo rides, hair and makeup stations and a crowning ceremony in which each honored guest received a crown or tiara.

The men also received handmade leather bracelets, while each woman who attended received a diamond necklace donated by Riddle’s Jewelry.

South Dakota Ambassadors Lindsey Kinstle and Jamie Hill had a blast dressing up and serving as special friends for the evening. They escorted guests, sat with them at dinner, engaged them in conversation and helped with activities.

Lindsey and Jamie even had the chance to meet up with some old friends, David and Jackie, who previously worked in the cafeteria at Horizon Point.

Sounds like a wonderful night!
