Pies for Pints a success in South Dakota
lynn

The results are in: Our Pies for Pints Blood Drive was a huge success!

Because of the shortage of blood donors this time of year, Vitalant in Rapid City, South Dakota, was hoping our recent blood drive would result in 36 units of blood, which is well below our normal donation level. But because so many of you stepped up and signed up we went way beyond expectations and donated 50 units – and each donor walked away with a holiday pie to enjoy as well!

We want to thank everyone who donated at the Vitalant office and during our three on-site blood drives this year. Because of your willingness to help others we have collectively donated 166 units of blood in 2022 to help those in need!

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos.
