New Liberty Center hosts chamber mixer in South Dakota
chamber event

We hosted the January Box Elder Chamber of Commerce Mixer at the new Black Hills Energy Liberty Center in Box Elder, South Dakota.

More than 100 local business leaders gathered to network and check out the impressive new facility, which opened in November. The Liberty Center was constructed by the Ellsworth Development Authority to support year-round indoor physical training of airmen on Ellsworth Air Force Base. The 60,000-square-foot facility is the anchor for the Main Street of Box Elder which will feature housing, apartments, hotels, banks, restaurants and much more.

Managed through a partnership with the YMCA, the Black Hills Energy Liberty Center features state-of-the-art wellness equipment, drop-off child care, basketball courts and an eighth-mile indoor running track. Black Hills Energy secured naming rights of the facility and is proud to play such a large role in the growth of both the Box Elder area and Ellsworth Air Force Base.

A huge thank you to our Ambassadors for their help in making the event a success!

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Follow us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedInTwitter, YouTube, and Pinterest for more!
