Fourth of July parades in South Dakota

Let’s be honest, we all go to parades for the free candy. Whether you’re taking it from your child or grabbing it off of the sidewalk, know that this past Independence Day our team from South Dakota would have had your sweet tooth covered!

During this year’s Independence Day celebration, members of our company in the Black Hills of South Dakota area participated in several parades and had a ton of fun while doing it. They threw out candy to children and their excited parents and ended up running out before reaching the finish line.

Despite the rain and cold weather, we were represented in five communities in the area with parade entries ranging from electric vehicles to bucket trucks.

Thank you, ambassadors and employees listed below, for representing our company during this year’s Independence Day!

Hill City – Tyler Barnhouse, Southern Hills service mechanic, and family, and Lynn Kendall, community affairs.

Hot Springs – Jacob Novotny, Southern Hills lead line mechanic, and his daughter, Miss Teen State Fair.

Deadwood – Josh Hanson, Northern Hills service mechanic.

Piedmont – Shera Hintzen, software analyst, and Cole Leidholt, Rapid City equipment operator.

Belle Fourche – Lynn Kendall, community affairs, and family.

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Follow us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedInTwitter, YouTube, and Pinterest for more!
