Feeling the holiday spirit in Albion, Nebraska
employees

The holiday season is a very special time of year, but for some families it can add extra stress. Albion, Nebraska, employees were excited to help eliminate that stress for one family by participating in the Christmas Blessing program this holiday season.

The program is centered around giving. The organizer, Sarah Moeller from Albion, works closely with local schools and facilities to identify families who could benefit from some support during the holiday season. Sarah reached out to Chris, utility construction specialist for Albion, and asked if Black Hills Energy would like to sponsor a family. It was an easy yes for the Albion team!

The Christmas wish list was received which included the ages and interests of the children, as well as Christmas wants and needs. Albion employees gladly shopped and wrapped, and then Chris delivered the presents to a drop-off zone!

Giving is the true meaning of the holiday season. The Albion team wants everyone to have a safe and Happy Holidays!

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Follow us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedInTwitter, YouTube, and Pinterest for more!
