Colorado team performs Operation Give Back - Backpack
backpack

Our Colorado electric team set out to help those in need during the cold spell with storm Elliott.

The Pueblo Rescue Mission, Tri-County services and Loaves & Fishes Ministries help the homeless in the Colorado electric service area. The team put together 150 backpacks filled with warm winter clothing including knit hats, gloves, fleece blankets, hand warmers and cozy socks! The backpacks also included snacks and toiletries.

The backpacks were distributed to the Pueblo Mission, Tri-County services in Rocky Ford and Loaves & Fishes ministries in Canon City. These agencies provided the backpacks to people who needed a little extra help and warmth during the storm where temperatures dropped to record lows.

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Follow us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedInTwitter, YouTube, and Pinterest for more!
