Can a diesel engine be converted?
No, a vehicle powered by a diesel engine can be repowered by switching the diesel engine for a dedicated natural gas engine. The other option is to add compressed natural gas (CNG) blending capability. This technology, available for some diesel engines, allows the engine to operate on a controlled mixture of diesel fuel and CNG.
