Supporting students in northwest Arkansas
bus

Black Hills Energy believes in the power of giving back in our communities. Helping to create a pathway out of poverty through educational support is just one way we do it.

Each year, the United Way of Northwest Arkansas holds a Fill the Bus drive for students in that community. Fill the Bus is an initiative in partnership with Walmart and sponsored by BIC, Crayola, Clorox and Coca-Cola with a goal of providing school supplies to local students in need. The supply drive strives to help students succeed in their education by ensuring they have the necessary supplies.

The school supplies that are collected support students in 15 school districts in northwest Arkansas.

Black Hills Energy has been involved in the Fill the Bus drive for the past several years, collecting supplies in our northwest Arkansas offices. We are proud to support this great cause!

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Make sure to tag us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
