Janet Worley named Volunteer of the Year in Arkansas
janet

Over the past three years, team members in Arkansas have been given the opportunity to nominate one of their co-workers for Volunteer of the Year. As nominations come in it is heartwarming to hear about the impact our team is making in the communities we serve!

We know the instances that we hear about are only a fraction of what occurs and that there are many team members who are worthy of recognition for their volunteer efforts. Our deepest gratitude is extended to all of you who give back and represent us across the state.

We are proud to announce this year’s recipient is Janet Worley (Rogers Division). Janet is always eager and willing to volunteer in her community. She has been very active with United Way, 811 Day, the Ambassadors, and supports many of the Chambers of Commerce in the region. In recognition of her efforts, Black Hills Energy will be making a $250 donation to the charity of her choosing.

Here is what some of her co-workers had to say about her: “Janet volunteers throughout our community to represent Black Hills Energy. She is very proud of our company and her long history with Black Hills Energy. I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this recognition.”

“Janet never turns down an opportunity to volunteer in our community. She is always one of the first to volunteer her time. She encourages our team to get involved and represent Black Hills Energy out in our communities.”

Janet, thank you again for giving back to your community, for encouraging others to volunteer, and for representing Black Hills Energy in such a positive way!

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Make sure to tag us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
