Black Hills Energy’s Iowa Gas team has been recognized as a longtime community partner in two eastern Iowa communities.

The Monona, Iowa, Chamber & Economic Development organization honored the team for 80 years of service to the city of Monona and presented Operations Supervisor Ivan Hackman with a plaque in recognition of the team’s commitment to the community.

DelCo AMP’T, which stands for Advancing Modern Professionals for Tomorrow, is a group of young professionals in Delaware County, Iowa. They recognized the Black Hills Energy team in Manchester, Iowa, for more than 50 years of service. Community technician Scott Bishop accepted the award on behalf of the team.

Both awards celebrate local business involvement in the community and the future of the local economy.
