Calling the Hogs with Fayetteville Chamber members in Arkansas
fans

We are proud to partner with the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce on various events throughout the year.

Recently we sponsored Professionals Night Out, hosted by one of our largest customers, the University of Arkansas. Nearly 20 Black Hills Energy team members attended the business after hours event and heard from athletic director Hunter Yurachek about Razorback sports. The event was held at the Frank Broyles Athletic Center.

Chamber President Steve Clark introduced Chad Kinsley, vice president of operations in Arkansas, and highlighted our company's deep service to the community and our investments in infrastructure, such as the current Medical Park pipeline replacement in Fayetteville. The pipeline replacement is part of our plan for growth in northwest Arkansas.

Kinsley spoke about how we are stronger through our partnerships and asked attendees to help with the important education of “Call Before you Dig.” He shared that Black Hills Energy has a new damage prevention trailer in Northwest Arkansas for 811 Day, and we look forward to bringing it to Fayetteville Square for the Chamber's Hispanic Heritage Festival in September.

Black Hills Energy has also had a longtime partnership with Razorback baseball. A big hit of the night — we gave away a gas grill as a door prize. Team members also gave out tape measures, laptop camera covers and other promotional items. This fun event, which came complete with gameday hotdogs, got Arkansas team members even more excited to “call those Hogs” for football season.

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Make sure to tag us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
