Black Hills Energy recognizes fire departments during Fire Safety and Prevention Month
overton

Safety is our top priority at Black Hills Energy. And we celebrate the brave men and women who share this common goal with us.

To thank local fire departments across the state, our Nebraska team celebrated National Fire Safety and Prevention Month by giving $1,000 grants to each of the volunteer fire departments in Sidney, Overton, Atkinson and Bennett, Nebraska. The grants will be used to purchase smoke and carbon monoxide detectors for local residents and to support other fire department projects.

We also delivered cases of water to 100 volunteer departments throughout the region.

Thank you for your service.

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Make sure to tag us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
