Black Hills Energy helps fund new playground in Iowa
team

A park playground in Ogden, Iowa will be getting some upgrades thanks to support from Black Hills Energy.

Originally built in 1995, the park play area is geared to children ages 5 to 12. The park is used by Ogden residents as well as families from neighboring communities, many of which are served by Black Hills Energy.

Black Hills Energy Community Technician Jason Weber sits on the Ogden city park board and suggested that city officials submit a request for Black Hills Energy funding to help with playground improvements. Black Hills Energy’s contribution will help fund a project that includes expanding the play area by 800 square feet to accommodate a new larger piece of play equipment and adding rubber matting beneath the equipment for added safety.

We are pleased to support the Ogden community in this way!

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Make sure to tag us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
