Arkansas team donates to local high school choir to get them to Carnegie Hall this summer
arg

The Encore Choir of Berryville High School in Arkansas was selected to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City in June. The Berryville Choir Boosters hosted a community concert fundraiser in April with students participating in Prince Ivan’s Music In Schools national program.

The Prince Ivan Music In Schools program connects students with professional recording artists to learn about the music business, songwriting and performing. They also attend assemblies and workshops. At the conclusion, students get to perform on stage with Prince Ivan during their 100-minute pop concert. This is the culminating moment when the students get to show the results of their work. All proceeds from the Prince Ivan concert went to the Encore Choir.

Wade Arnold, senior gas technician in Harrison, presented the choir members with a donation from us to help them fund the trip to New York City. The choir students were very excited about the boost to their Carnegie Hall fundraising efforts. Arnold serves the Berryville schools and Carroll County communities.
