Crew teams up to clean up South Dakota highway

There are many ways to build a stronger work team. Our South Dakota team built teamwork through an ongoing service project that benefits the local community at the same time.

Employees in the supply chain department, located at our Horizon Point facility in Rapid City, South Dakota, recently took time out of their schedules to clean up a two-mile segment of nearby Old Hill City Road.

Employees volunteer to clean up this stretch of highway twice a year as part of a team-building event. In the process, they improve our community. A team of eight took part in the latest clean-up round.

Supply chain was recently recognized by Pennington County for their ongoing clean-up efforts and participation in the Adopt-A-Highway Program.

Benefiting the community while encouraging teamwork is a win-win!
