Aug. 13 9:12 a.m. MST CUSTER, SD – Black Hills Energy has experienced a power outage in the Custer community affecting 717 customers around 6:30 pm. The outage was due to flooding that has reach our electrical substation with some equipment under water. Crews responded to outage and restored power at 9:30 pm.

  Aug. 13 8:32 a.m. MST - CUSTER, SD - Black Hills Energy has experienced a power outage in the Custer area affecting about 741 customers around 6:42 am. The outages were identified in the west side of Custer along Hwy 16.  Black Hills Energy crews have responded to the outage as they are patrolling the line with restoration efforts planned for implementation. Cause of outage is yet unknown.
