We're inspecting natural gas meters in our Cheyenne community

meter maintenance

Our goal is to always provide you with safe and reliable natural gas service. That’s why we’re out in the Cheyenne community performing routine inspections on the equipment that helps deliver natural gas to your home or business.

Black Hills Energy has contracted with ELM Utility Services to inspect all natural gas meters in the Cheyenne, Wyoming area of operations beginning November 11, 2020. The equipment review will consist of ELM technicians verifying the serial number and location of the gas meter, as well as taking a photograph of the meter set in order to ensure our records are as up to date and accurate as possible. No additional work will be performed at this time, and no service outages will be experienced as a result of these inspections.

For the safety and well being of both our contracted technicians and customers, we’re following all Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines regarding COVID-19, and all contracted workers will carry proper identification.

If you have any questions about the inspection or the identity of anyone performing service, you can always contact us at 888-890-5554.
