Blair bypass transmission line relocation project

We've partnered with the City of Blair to relocate a natural gas line to accommodate necessary safety improvements to the community’s downtown. To prepare for roadway construction starting in 2023, work will begin in July 2022 relocating nearly one mile of natural gas transmission line from Highway 30 to Highway 75 north of Walmart. Construction work is set to conclude in the fall.

We're committed to healthy, vibrant communities. This project allows us to continue providing safe, reliable natural gas well into Blair's future. In the coming weeks, there will be considerable activity throughout the Highway 30 to Highway 75 corridor, including possible lane closures.

We understand that construction can impact your life and business, so every effort will be made to minimize these impacts throughout the project and to restore the work area to its original state when work is complete.
