Budget Billing
Budget Billing is a free, stable billing plan. It gives you more predictable bills by averaging the amount you pay each month. That way, you can avoid spikes in your bill due to seasonal usage.
How it works
Your monthly bill will be based on your average energy bill during the past year. Your bill will only change if your usage or the cost of electricity or natural gas changes by 10% or more. On your Budget Billing anniversary date, your full account balance will be factored into the budget billing average, and your monthly bill is recalculated.
How to sign up
- Sign into your account
- Click on Billing in the left navigation
- Click on Manage Settings
- Click on Enroll
- Agree to the terms and click “Enroll”
Cancel at any time
Cancel budget billing at any time. When you cancel your Budget Billing plan, your full account balance will be due at that time. We'll apply any credits or balances to your next bill. To cancel budget billing:
- Sign into your account
- Click on Billing in the left navigation
- Click on Settings
- Click on "Manage Settings"
- Click "Stop Budget Billing"
